hello there developers
I am not rushing you or stressing you I know all this work is voluntary form you and we all thank you for the great job you are doing trying to make us install Mac osx Tahoe in older machines
I m just asking how far are we close to reach that we can install Mac osx Tahoe in T2 Macs like MacBook Pro 2018 15.1 & other T2 Macs?
is there a hope I am asking this as I am waiting every update you put in your software I download it hoping that you have reached the part that we can at least reach the installer page of Mac osx Tahoe and install it on T2 Macs but every time nothing yet so I am just asking as you guys who are working in this wonderful project could give us update on how far are we close so we can just have an idea instead of waiting everyday for new update and nothing happens so that we don't expect it sooner than it should be instead of expecting it we could have some idea the timeline as not sooner than at least for example not sooner than 2 month 3 month etc...so we don't expect it sooner than it will be ...
and again thank you for doing this project and for all you efforts work 😊

Hi @m0rtiis1, thanks for the report! To look into this we need to know exactly which versions you're running. Please edit your issue or reply below with:

  • OpenCore Legacy Patcher version (e.g. 4.0.0.19004.5), shown in the app's main window. If you built from source, the commit hash works too. Image

"Latest" or "new" isn't enough, since new builds come out often. This comment will go away once the versions are added.

Stage 2 solution does need to be tested and I've heard in the OC discord server that with the official Dortania Patcher Development after a couple of restarts the Mac refuses to boot and needs a DFU restore

Still freezes with 4.0.0.190009.9 on MBP 15,1. Adding -wegoff gets passed that to the Apple logo and installation bar "29 minutes remaining" but then gets the failed to prepare the update thing.
