When I tried installing macOS Tahoe on my 2018 today, I could not install it and it would say permission denied. Something that does make it different to a similar issue from mine is that mine cannot mount the separate partition I made nor create one due to an error (filevault is not enabled) and cannot also erase the disk too. Pictures below show what I am talking about.

Out of topic, but could you please put a -wegoff option inside OpenCore settings? This for some reason stops the hangs on window server for Macs like MacBookPro15,1 as shown with my MacBook and @WhiteLighter78's.
