@juan-cazalvilla Thanks for the detailed report! This is a known issue — the hdiutil attach failed - Permission denied error occurs when macOS's security policies block the DMG from being mounted, even with administrator privileges.
Here are a few things to try
Disable SIP temporarily — Boot into Recovery Mode (Cmd+R at startup), open Terminal and run csrutil disable, then reboot and try root patching again.
Check Full Disk Access — Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Full Disk Access and make sure OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher-T2.app is listed and enabled.
Run from Terminal manually — Try launching the patcher from Terminal with sudo, e.g.:
sudo /Library/Application\ Support/albert-mueller/OpenCore-Patcher-T2/OpenCore-Patcher-T2.app/Contents/MacOS/OpenCore-Patcher-T2
Could you let me know which of these works? If none do, please also share your SIP status (csrutil status in Terminal) so I can investigate further.

@Medelcartelinc I believe it can be a syntax issue, but not 100% sure. Will test in my macOS 26 VM.

Follow up.
