When logging in with root patches applied on my 2015 15” macbook pro 11,4; it remains stuck with the progress bar around 30% or so; but when root patches aren’t applied it doesn’t do that. And when waking from sleep the screen remains blank.

(Ignore the accidental close and reopened, accidentally hit it while trying to comment) but, Update: I tried the latest update and it still gives the same issue.

After I updated to the latest version, I was able to install root patches; but once again, I get stuck on the progress bar after entering my password and am unable to reach the desktop.

@albert-mueller I updated to the latest release which was stated to fix login loops and I am still unable to reach the desktop as it continues to be stuck on the login screen after entering my password.. I believe it has something to do with the root patches.

I have discovered a potential issue, it boots just fine with simply the intel haswell graphics and network kexts installed, I believe it is either the audio kext and or the pcie facetime camera kext that causes the login issue. There is also no graphics acceleration.

the audio and camera login loop is caused by amfi blocking the kexts. make sure you have
amfi=0x80oramfi_get_out_of_my_way=1in your boot-args. as for graphics acceleration, we are actively rewriting the metal 31001 interposer for tahoe and will release it soon.@danman47707535 ·
I attempted to use both amfi=0x80 and amfi_get_out_of_ my_way=1 using OCAT, but I still got stuck at the same login issue. What do I do?
