Thanks for the report! Looking at the log you pasted: I don't see an actual kernel panic here — everything is still pre-kernel EFI/bootloader logging (
AAPL:/OC:/OCAK:lines), and the log ends right where its ~256 KB capture buffer runs out (LOG:EXITBS:START), not necessarily where the boot actually fails.The
Err(0xE)onusr\standalone\OS.dmg.root_hashduring theOS Installer 2phase looks concerning, but this exact sequence has shown up before on a device where the boot actually continued fine afterward — it turned out to be harmless log truncation rather than the real failure point.To pin this down, could you:
-v(verbose) boot-args, and if you have a second Mac available, capture the log over serial/network instead of relying on the on-screen buffer, so it isn't cut off at the same point.That will tell us whether this is a real OpenCorePkg-side bug or something else (root patching, installer media, etc.) — I'd rather not guess at a fix without knowing what's actually failing.

So my Mac stop install in apple logo and progress bar 29%. Later they
open this recovery..
I don't use SMBIOS, but I'm using spoof level: Moderate.
I make all in instruction but it's don't work, later i trying now and send you logs and details (Sorry on errors, English not my native language)
@albert-mueller ·
I totally understand you. My native language is not English as well.
My English is my third language, I speak both Bulgarian and German better than English.
@albert-mueller ·
@Ang1l3ff can you try whether with the latest release it gets stuck here?
@Ang1l3ff ·
Yeah I can, but later, maybe today or tomorrow
@Ang1l3ff ·
Hi I'm return back. My Macbook 15,4 have a problem in startup in EFI OCLP. I found out if turn on "Allow spoofing native macs" Mac don't correct startup and having problem "AppleUSBXHCI::createPorts:
unsupported speed mantissa"
And I know it's kernel problem but maybe you know what fix it?
@albert-mueller ·
Yes, it’s a kernel problem for sure. I can conclude the same. Were working hard to fix this:

Hello! I'm using OCLP last update, and EFI startup correct, but problem in assistant installer process install Mac OS Tahoe freeze up on 12 minutes and show error "Mac OS could not be installed; you can try again."
But I guess they not installed for apple support. Log journal "OSISPredicateUpdateProduct: Incompatible Apps List: Timed out loading catalo
Lersetupd [323]:
OSISPredicateUpdateProduct: Incompatible Apps List: No products found.
lersetupd [323]: Failed to find incompatible apps list on software update catalog lersetupd [323]: Syncing extracted data to disk"
I guess they need internet but idk what is it, I'm using offline installer. Today I'm try again and text you:)
