Volume mounting

· von @Zer0xDev

Is there a way to mount the internal drive in the macOS installer? None of the partitions are mounting for me. Is there any way to fix this on a MacBook Air 2019?

Yeah, I saw your issue about this problem, but I'm wondering if anyone managed to fix it?

Can you try not to spoof your SMBIOS and leave it as MacBookAir8,1? At the moment, only this does work and tested on MacBook Pro 2020 4 thunderbolt 3 ports; pending to test on Mac mini 2018 the same thing.

Ok, will need also to test how far it goes on the Mac mini 2018 and whether this issue only affects your MacBook Air or it affects the Mac mini 2018 as well.

Okay, tested on my Mac mini 2018, the mounting issue is there. Only on supported T2 Macs when not SMBIOS spoofed the issue is gone. Need to check what exactly causes it, but likely I need to play with OpenCore at this stage.

@gandolf243 Do you know something about T2 Macs and eventually what to try to fix this?

And btw, I tried booting into a supported OS via OCLP, but I just get a black screen. As soon as I select the drive in OpenCore, the screen goes black and that's it
