Audio Patch Issue on iMac 19,2 (Tahoe 26.6.2)

· General · by @7kp2mmmp27-sudo

I managed to install macOS Tahoe on my 2019 4K iMac, and everything works well—graphics acceleration, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth—but the audio isn't working. A patch called "Miscellaneous: Modern Audio" is available, but I can't install it for the following reasons:
SIP is enabled
Booted SIP: 0x0 vs expected 0x803
AMFI is enabled

I’d like to know if there is a way to get native audio working.

Can you try to update to the latest version and see whether the issue is fixed?

My problem is that if I apply the root patch, the system gets stuck on the "no entry" symbol during boot-up after restarting. However, on version "4.0.0.180010.2 - alpha 18.10.2," the iMac boots up fine—though, of course, without sound due to that bug. I also have an iMac 19,2 and macOS 26.7.
