Problem Root patching on MacBook 14,1
Hi, can anyone help me? I tried installing Tahoee on my 2017 MacBook Pro, but I get an error when installing the root patches. How can I fix this?

Just released a new update, I highly recommend to install that update.

Try changing the OS language to English, @Medelcartelinc needs to fix this issue when the language is not English. Then it should succeed.

Hi @salamel1810
Confirming what Albert said: this happens because macOS system tools like hdiutil output errors in your local system language (Italian, French, etc.) instead of English. The patcher looks for specific English phrases like "Permission denied" to ask for your administrator password, so on a non-English system it fails to catch the prompt and stops.
The quick workaround is to temporarily set your macOS language to English in System Settings > General > Language & Region, restart your Mac, and run the root patcher again. It will go through without problems, and after the final reboot you can switch your language back to Italian.
We already added LC_ALL=C in the codebase so upcoming builds will handle this automatically regardless of the OS language.
