Does macOS 26 work and can patch on macbook pro 11,4 in the new update?
i want to try macos 26 on my macbook, but i dont know does it work fine on the newest update, if who had tried install it on macbook pro 11,4, please give me a respond

On a MacBook Pro 11,4 (15-inch Mid 2015 with Intel Iris Pro 5200 Haswell graphics), macOS 26 Tahoe is not ready for daily use right now.
Apple completely removed legacy Haswell graphics drivers from macOS Tahoe. While the system may boot into an unaccelerated basic framebuffer, applying root patches will lead to a black screen or WindowServer crashes because legacy Metal acceleration has not been adapted for Tahoe yet.
If you rely on this MacBook for everyday work, we strongly recommend staying on macOS 15 Sequoia where graphics acceleration is fully functional, smooth, and stable. Tahoe support for 2016 and older graphics stacks is still experimental.
