The mac gets to the apple logo, the white bar at the bottom never gets any progress after it flashes the cursor, and then the fans whirl up and the MacBook turns itself off after 2-5 minutes.
This person is having a similar issue to me;

@jimmymcgeepizza We're working on it. It doesn't just affect your Mac, but affects any unsupported T2 Mac.
