Rollback to 4.0.0 18008 solves this problem.
To do:
Boot from an USB Stick what has an older version of opencore intsalled
Insert this device and turn on your mac
Hold Option / Alt key pressed
select the EFI Icon on the right this should be the USB device
Select your macOS installation - your HDD
After boot uninstall version 4.0.0 18009.1 by using official uninstaller or appcleaner
then install version 4.0.0 18008 and install opencore to your system
Follow the instruction of OCLP T2
After a reboot macOS will boot normally

@friendlycatt this is a issue with the new version. one of the kexts are not working right currently. i got the same thing on mine same model. though rollback will get thaoe to boot again you will just get hit with the mac os isnt comptible message because the kext that is failing prevents the mac os compatibilty message
