Hi!
The black screen with only a movable cursor means WindowServer has initialized the display surface, but loginwindow / SecurityAgent is crashing in a loop before rendering the login UI.
We had the exact same issue on Touch Bar models:

  1. When Touch Bar / security daemons attempt to bridge to the security controller during boot, an ABI mismatch causes SecurityAgent to segfault every 10 seconds, leaving the display black with just the cursor.
  2. If you are able to reach Terminal via Recovery or SSH, running tail -f /var/log/system.log will show SecurityAgent respawning continuously.
  3. For now, boot with -nokcmismatchpanic keepsyms=1 -amfipassbeta in your OpenCore boot-args, and make sure amfi=0x80 is NOT present (as it breaks entitlement verification in the login session).
We are tracking this specific loginwindow hang in our latest beta branch.

Sorry but wasn't sure how to explain it in English, that's why I wrote in German instead.

You likely clicked the option to mount the EFI without opening the config.plist. What you can do is go to Finder, and find a partition called EFI, then right click the config.plist > Open with > OCAT
